The theme of the 2023 edition of the digital stones course is Biomimicry.
Biomimicry involves adapting solutions already developed by nature to the human species. The invited artists take up this notion and their works imitate nature, drawing on inspirations linked to the living world, but also on natural phenomena that alter our perception of the world and reveal the current climate change.
Analyze, reproduce and experiment with visual or physical representations of biological systems to question our society and attempt to solve the problems inherent in its unsustainable development. By taking over art and architecture, biomimicry proposes new situations through unprecedented artistic processes.
